WATERFRONT ROOMS

Anchorage 1770 features 4 water front rooms with beautiful views of the Beaufort River on the Intercostal Waterway of the Atlantic Ocean. The two rooms on the 3rd-floor offer 13-foot ceilings adjacent to the covered piazza. The two 4th floor rooms have what most consider “the best view in Beaufort” adjacent to the open-air deck.

These waterfront guest rooms are adjacent to the Veranda & Library where a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine on one of our two Custom Carolina Hanging Beds is the perfect beginning or ending to a Lowcountry day. These rooms feature a four poster King bed with down bedding, custom-designed furnishings, and a seating area in front of an Adams Mantel fireplace. The European-style bathroom features a rain shower, custom vanity by a local craftsman and hand-laid tile. Classic architectural characteristics include heart pine floors and period millwork from Upstate New York.
