2020 Oh What A Year It’s Been!

Amy & Frank at Anchorage 1770 Christmas

2020 Oh What A Year It’s Been!

Oh what a year! I don’t think anyone will ever forget 2020, as much as we’d like to.

The hospitality world has been one of the hardest hit industries. Thank goodness, Anchorage 1770 has been able to hang on, but we know of many businesses, restaurants, Inns and tour companies that have had to close their doors.

Anchorage 1770 Inn Christmas

Anchorage 1770 all dressed up for Christmas!

We are hoping we are not about to enter another shutdown. We have started to see another wave of light bookings and cancellations. At Anchorage 1770 we are taking all precautions to ensure our guests have a healthy stay with us.*

We understand not everyone feels comfortable traveling now….but don’t you all miss getting away? It is nice having something to look forward to. Isn’t it?

That is why we think a great Christmas present would be a gift certificate to Anchorage 1770! We are offering gift certificates that will not expire for two years. The gift certificates will be good for both the Inn and the restaurant. With this gift certificate, the recipient will also receive a 10% discount off of their room rates or 10% off of their dinner bill.

To order your gift certificate call us at 843-525-1770.

During this holiday season, we really encourage you to shop locally, dine out or take out, and support the small businesses. Spread some much needed holiday cheer. We hope to see you down here in the Lowcountry real soon!

Wishing you all a safe and healthy holiday season filled with so much love!

*Please note: Our housekeeping and food service staff use EcoLab products for cleaning and maintenance. Specifically we use Peroxide Multi Surface Cleaner and Disinfectant to clean surfaces. This product is approved by the US EPA and kills Covid-19 within seconds of contact.

Our city, Beaufort, SC has a mask ordinance. Persons in all indoor public spaces are required to wear a mask. Our staff all use masks and they are available by the front entrance for anyone who enters without one. We have a notice posted at our front desk to inform visitors about the ordinance. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the inn and each room has disinfectant wipes for our guests.
