With the water at our front door, Anchorage 1770 can get you on the water immediately. What you’ll see will astonish and inspire you. Seven-foot tides caress the marshes and the water is crystal clear. Schools of fish dart everywhere and draw the attention of pods of patrolling dolphin. Pelicans cruise overhead all day long.
If you’ve brought your own board or boat, you can put in across the street at the marina. If you’re looking for an introduction to paddle boarding and kayaking, we’ve partnered with Beaufort’s Higher Ground Outfitters for guided small group outings and individual assistance. Most outings leave from the marina across the street from the inn.
Rental Options
All rentals include paddles, and vests. A daily rental is 24 hours from pick-up. They also offer delivery for an additional charge. They have a variety of kayaks available including fishing, touring, and tandem models!
